HAMBURG, N.Y., – September 28, 2026 – Southtowns Walleye Association of Western New York Inc. (STWA) (www.southtownswalleye.com) held its Annual One Day Walleye Tournament on September 26th, 2026, on the waters of Lake Erie and the Upper Niagara River. The event boasted over 25 entrants from across the Western New York region competing for top prizes in the heaviest three walleye combined weigh in for adult and youth divisions along with the biggest walleye of the tournament.
The weigh-in was held at the STWA Clubhouse, with main prizes being awarded to the individuals that weighed in their three biggest walleyes of the day. Top honors went to the following tournament participants.

5th – Gino Cafiri– 13.16 lbs.
6th – Phil Hawen – 11.80 lbs.
7th – Don Ogren – 10.04 lbs.
8th – Sam Eytra – 9.68 lbs.
9th – Laura Wright – 5.24 lbs.
